Our authentic Limoges boxes pronounced (lemoges) are all marked Peint Main (hand painted) Limoges France and are directly imported from Limoges France.  Some marks also include the artist's initial's and company logo.  Either way our Limoges boxes are all authentic. Limoges boxes began in 1712 as Snuff Limoges boxes.  They were made using the whitest clay know as Kaolin.  Later in 1768 a large area of Kaolin was discovered near the town of Limoges and the snuff boxes evolved into very decorative hand painted pill boxes.  Today you can just enjoy their beauty as collectibles or stash one in your pocket or purse to hold your pills.  Either way we guarantee you an authentic hand painted limoges box.

Creating luxurious experiences comes naturally at Lady Primrose - born into the finest of traditions and surroundings. In 1990 The Lanesborough, London's finest hotel, commissioned Lady Pimrose to create exceptional bathing luxuries for their distinguished clientele. Caroline Rose Hunt teamed with  friend and business partner Vivian Young to develop a line of products suited for the hotel's discriminating guests. Working with a french parfumer and an  English toiletry house, the duo researched archival recipes dating back to 1677.  Their research proved successful, launching Lady Primrose's signature fragrance, Tryst and its companion, Royal Extract. Lady Primrose is used by Queen Elizabeth and was favored by the late Princess Diana, who presented it to her friends as gifts. We are confident you will be just as pleased with this fine product.

Our Handmade Powder Puff selection is made from Australian Merino wool sheepskin.  Our powder puffs measure from 6 to 8 inches in diameter providing a large surface area to collect your powder.
